About Us

David Thompson began his journey with New York Life in February of 2014 when he interviewed and was turned down for the position. Proving that persistence pays off, 15 months later he was welcomed to the team. Since his hire in May of 2015, he made Executive Council^* in 2016, 2017, qualified for MDRT^** in 2017, and made P.C. in 2018.

He is the founder of the dynamic networking group Referrals Easily Made, where he has the opportunity to educate members of his community on a weekly basis. His two favorite things to educate the community on are The Living Benefits of Life Insurance and Becoming Your Own Banker. He is also incredibly passionate about God and his family.

He's been blessed enough to marry his best friend Kendra in October of 2015. In December of 2016 they welcomed their 1st born son Maverick into this world and their 2nd son Judge in July of 2018. One of his favorite quotes is "Life is about making an impact, not making an income."
